Mental Health Awareness Week: Supporting our team

Mental health problems can affect anyone, at any time, and here at ted we are committed to supporting the mental and physical wellbeing of our team.

May 13th to May 19th 2019 is Mental Health Awareness Week, the UK’s national week to raise awareness of mental health and inspiring action to promote the message of good mental health for all.

To mark Mental Health Awareness Week, our Active department held workshops at tedHQ for staff to take time out and focus on improving their mental health.

The first was a self-care workshop, which helped our teams to create their own self-care toolbox for improved mental health, before a gong bathing session (sound meditation). This meditation class uses therapeutic sounds and vibrations to ease you in to deep relaxation.

Robin Breese-Davies, ted CEO, said: “Our Active department has successfully delivered wellbeing sessions, featuring meditation, mindfulness and yoga to our valued clients for more than a decade.

“The mental and physical health of our team is of high importance to us, and the workshops are one of many initiatives we will be running to support the wellbeing of our HQ staff.”
