  • Our acronym ted stands for The Entertainment Department…not to be confused with any other TED’s in the world! For the first two years of operation we retained the company’s full name, however soon became affectionately known as ted and that is the brand abbreviation which works.

  • Our HQ might be located just north of London, but 90% of our team – including our owners – has relocated to work for ted. This just goes to show (pardon the pun) how much everyone loves to work in our offices and how much fun we have on a daily basis.
  • Our core business is entertainment. But our combined products and services in our AV, Retail, Leisure and Media departments now represent 55% of our turnover (Jan 2016).
  • In the last 15 years, our Talent Agency has contracted over 175,000 individual bookings around the world.
  • Even though our core business is entertainment, we also develop concepts, brands and business unique selling points (USP’s). In 2008, ted devised, developed and sold the SENSATORI concept to the then Thomson Holidays. Our internal creatives came up with several aspects of the guest experience. This is why we live and breathe the Sensatori concept, and remain a key supplier today to TUI, the UK’s biggest tour operator.
  • Since ted was formed, over 400 original shows have been produced and performed to live audiences around the world.
  • Over 6 million people have watched a ted show across 35 different countries.
