Here at tedactive we’re always pushing the boundaries, looking to introduce new innovative concepts with our clients.
In the summer of 2019, we did exactly that at TUI SENSATORI Resorts Barut Fethiye and Aphrodite Hills.
Bathing in the sound of the gong
The concept we introduced, to the luxurious TUI SENSATORI Resorts in Fethiye (Turkey) and Aphrodite Hills (Cyprus), was Gong Bathing Sound Meditation.
Gong Bathing Sound Meditation is a unique type of sound practice that involves using therapeutic gong sounds and vibrations to bring about healing.
A deeply relaxing and peaceful experience, it has a clearing effect on your emotions, and is known to help break up and reduce negative thoughts.
“The gong meditation sessions are unbelievable”
The class is delivered by our expert Wellbeing team in resort and provides guests with a unique experience, something that they’re unlikely to have experienced before.
And it’s a perfect addition to our Sports & Wellbeing programme at TUI SENSATORI Resorts – a programme that includes everything from HIIT, Tennis and Archery, to Yoga, Mindfulness and Personal Training.
Here’s some guest feedback from summer 2019:
“The team are extremely knowledgeable about yoga and meditation disciplines. The gong meditation sessions are unbelievable! Many thanks to the team. Can’t wait to come back!”
“Really enjoyed the wellbeing sessions, but the most special part was the gong relaxation we did on both Saturday and Sunday. I’ll be honest, I was sceptical that lying on the floor on comfy cushions listening to a gong would relax me, but I’m happy to report my doubts were quashed within about three minutes.”
“It is a place where people genuinely care, whether it be the inspiring yoga or relaxing meditation. And the gong… wow! It is a home from home and made me leave wanting so much more – definitely food for the soul!”
“Being complete newbies to mindfulness, meditation, yoga and the gong, we came with an open mind. Our minds were truly enriched by the expert-level guidance on offer. A personal thank you from us both, you have provided us the first stepping stone on the journey towards our health and wellbeing.”
