Technical Support Manager


We have an exciting vacancy for a full-time Technical Support Manager to join our HQ team, located in Milton Keynes, UK.

This role would suit an individual with sound, light and AV industry experience who has the ability to communicate effectively at all levels.

role responsibilities

As tedav’s new Technical Support Manager, you will play a leading role in the delivery, servicing and support across all our AV maintenance contracts and installation projects.

You will be responsible for all after-care support within the department ensuring that the venues in which we maintain are running smoothly with our in-house technicians fully supported overseas.

As a business we regularly provide installations into schools, cruise ships and hotels. Therefore, you will have a keen interest in system design and also be able to fault-find over the telephone.

Being the first point of contact for all incoming technical queries will mean you will be required to have a strong foundation of AV knowledge including working to schematics provided by Project Managers on previous installations.

qualifications, skills and experience

You must have a proven track record within the sound, light and AV industry, with strong AV product knowledge and the ability to understand AV schematics at component level.

Experience and knowledge of the technical aspect of the entertainment industry is essential, and you must be comfortable working within a customer service environment, at a fast pace.

You must also have excellent interpersonal and communication skills, alongside stand-out organisational skills, with the ability to multi-task projects.
