Projects Co-ordinator


We are recruiting a full-time Projects Co-ordinator to join our HQ team, located in Milton Keynes, UK.

This role will see you become a key part of our AV department, so would suit an individual with sound, light and AV industry experience, with the ability to communicate effectively at all levels.

tedav currently install technicians into 21 hotels and two cruise ships to support the entertainment provision. We also maintain the technical infrastructure in around 52 hotels and possess freelance support that carry out visits to ensure that the AV kit is adequately looked after and replenished where needed.

As well as the overseas aspect of tedav, the department also has a healthy portfolio of UK and cruise sector clients where we run events, along with technical installations, on a regular basis.

role responsibilities

As tedav’s new Projects Co-ordinator, you will work predominantly with the Projects team, responsible for assisting project managers with all aspects of AV projects and events.

This includes but not limited to preparing CAD drawings (training will be provided), organising procurement sheets, designing AV installation systems, arranging logistics for projects, as well as supporting our growing events both in equipment preparation and events delivery.

You will also become a part of the technical training team for overseas technicians, while maintaining and developing a sound knowledge of all relevant AV products, to include attendance at manufacturers’ training, trade exhibitions and sales promotion days.

You will have history in operating in a technical position previously and be ready to join a company where you want to develop and progress under the management of AV specialists.

qualifications, skills and experience

A proven track record within the sound, light and AV industry is desirable, alongside knowledge of installation specifications, with the ability to complete technical drawings.

You must have excellent verbal and written communication skills, alongside stand-out organisation skills with the ability to multi-task under pressure.

Good IT skills with the Microsoft Office Suite will be needed, as well as being Mac proficient.

The ability to work under your own initiative, with pressure at times, is vital, as is being disciplined with the ability to work towards deadlines.
