Marketing Manager, EMEA

Working across all areas of the business, this role will be responsible for supporting marketing strategy across the EMEA region. Driving PR and communications to support the development and growth of ted’s marketing reach across the EMEA region..  In addition this role will, on occasion, support wider interests across the RWS Group, with a need to travel as required.

This role will work closely with the ted leadership, assisting in the development of business change and strategy, whilst reporting in globally to Group Marketing Director.

Be an agent for collaboration, supporting connections between key stakeholders on any project, ensuring optimized development and change management.  In this function it’s important that information is not just gathered and understood, new opportunities should be proactively engaged and driven across all areas of the business.

Responsibilities 

·       Assist in creating a strategy for expanding ted’s brand message and reach to a global audience; both from a business development and a casting and recruitment perspective

·       Assist in creating a strategy for expanding RWS, JRA and Binder Casting’s brand and reach to an EMEA audience

·       Act as a brand storyteller; edit and curate the ted brand voice across multiple channels – creatively adapting per medium

·       Collaborate with global external PR agency on PR initiatives in EMEA, including facilitating interviews, developing press kits, acquiring video and image assets and drafting press releases

·       Work with global external PR agency to identify high-profile speaking opportunities in the EMEA region for RWS, ted, JRA and/or Binder team members and submit speaking applications as required

·       Work with global external branding agency to ensure that the new branding of RWS Entertainment Group and its subsidiaries is appealing to a EMEA audience

·       Supervise ted’s social media coordinator, ensuring that copy and visuals meet brand standards, captivate both potential clients and potential talent, and integrate within the global RWS social media strategy and calendar

·       Craft compelling newsletters related to ted that engage a global audience

·       Advise global team on content for RWS, Binder and JRA newsletters so they captivate an EMEA audience

·       Work with ted’s media production team to create social, website and other marketing videos showcasing RWS Entertainment Group’s projects and people

·       Source visuals and assist in creating dynamic, culturally relevant copy for new ted website.

·       Coordinate submissions for EMEA industry awards, including copywriting and acquisition of image/video assets.

·       Monitor overall landscape, including new platforms and competitor activity to stay ahead of marketing, PR and social media trends in EMEA.

·       Coordinate and manage photography and videography shoots and press events for project openings in EMEA.

·       Work with ted merchandise team to design and coordinate distribution of innovative promotional gifts and giveaways for global staff, clients, talent and vendors.

Internal Support 

  • Work alongside the Creative and Business Development Director in developing an innovation and growth strategy. Working together on future programming of existing and new business, as well as forthcoming work.
Qualifications and Skills
·     University degree in Marketing, Public Relations, Communications or related field.

·     Minimum 3 years of public relations, branding and/or marketing experience for an entertainment company or PR/marketing/branding agency, preferably B2B.

·     Fluency in all things themed entertainment and theatre-dance-music-West End and speaking the same “language” as our target audience, while being able to interact in a way that is professional and authentic to our brands.

·     Demonstrated copywriting ability.

·     Strategic thought leader with a mind for business and a passion for creativity.

·     Proficient with Microsoft Office and Mac software.

·     High level understanding of content marketing across multiple mediums, regions, and verticals.

·     On the pulse of what’s “new and next” in emerging marketing platforms in the EMEA.

·     Developed analytical thinking. Ability to manage ROI and measure success.

·     Proactive, energetic and highly organized with strong creative communication skills, a positive attitude and an ability to manage an array of priorities and initiatives under tight deadlines.

·     Self-motivated and able to work independently since supervisor is located in the US.

·     Comfortable in a fast paced, entrepreneurial, deadline-driven, high-energy environment; a team player with ability to coordinate cross functionally.

·     Experience with Salesforce, Wrike, MailChimp and Dropbox a plus.

A valid passport for the duration of employment for all travel-related roles. Proof of vaccination against COVID-19 (or proof of exemption) will be required.

Experience in successfully delivering press, marketing and advertising projects on deadlines.
