Marketing Coordinator, EMEA

Job Summary

Reporting to RWS Entertainment Group’s Global Manager, Marketing & Communications, the Marketing Manager, EMEA assists with European, Middle East and Africa (EMEA) trade show marketing, public relations initiatives, external newsletters, marketing collateral production, speaking engagements and award submissions, serving as the main marketing point of contact for ted. In the process, they collaborate with in-house teams and third-party agencies, ensuring each project gets the resources and attention it needs to be successful.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as brand ambassador for ted, ensuring global brand standards and guidelines are met and adhered to by all departments
  • Assist with expanding awareness of all subsidiaries and the global brand across EMEA and beyond
  • Assist with EMEA market research and ted Marketing Strategy Development
  • Assist with logistics coordination for tradeshows in the EMEA; including booth design, staffing, installation and production of necessary marketing collateral
  • Manage and create compelling content for ted’s LinkedIn channel; including responding to comments, tracking analytics and coordinating paid posts
  • Support RWS’s Talent Casting & Recruitment Department in the sourcing of content for ted Facebook, Instagram, and TikTok channels
  • Collaborate with internal departments, clients and external agencies to source images and copy for all ted marketing needs, including but not limited, to web pages, external newsletters, press releases and internal communications
  • Maintain all subsidiaries’ EMEA membership programs
  • Develop and submit all EMEA sponsorship fulfilment materials
  • Work with an external graphic designer to create, produce and manage ad placement for EMEA trade publications and conferences
  • Assist with EMEA PR requests (trade and commercial)
  • Coordinate conference speaker submissions on behalf of ted for tradeshows and conferences, and maintain global speaker submission library
  • Coordinate award submissions for ted projects and initiatives
  • Create and maintain ted’s image asset library
  • Assist in the development and implementation of the Marketing CRM system (when adopted)
  • Lead all ted internal marketing efforts
  • Fulfil all ted-related marketing requests (with assistance as necessary)
  • Lead research in the latest marketing/social media best practices and innovation and regularly report findings.
  • Coordinate photography and video shoots for ted project openings, events and activations as necessary.
  • Assist with ted’s portion of the new brand launch this May
  • Manage and track paid and organic SEO for ted website, with possible future expansion to all global brand websites

Qualifications and Skills

  • Demonstrated copywriting ability
  • High-level understanding of content marketing across multiple mediums, regions, and verticals.
  • On the pulse of what’s “new and next” in emerging marketing platforms in the EMEA
  • Developed analytical thinking. Ability to manage ROI and measure success

Experience

  • Experience developing successful social media, web, digital, PR and or brand campaigns
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office and Mac software
  • Experience with Salesforce, Wrike, MailChimp and Dropbox a plus
