Located at our central offices in Buckinghamshire, this position will see the role holder taking the function of Head of Department and managing the AV team, overseeing UK and overseas projects, and accountability for departmental financial performance in its entirety. Effective project & resource management, commercial acumen and previous technical experience are key requirements.
Our AV function sees us recruit and manage technicians both in the UK and overseas, we conduct AV installations for our partners covering all aspects of the AV spectrum. In addition to this we maintain a healthy portfolio of UK work which sees us supporting government funded educational institutions, partners in the cruise sector and much more.
The current AV team includes UK and Overseas Project Managers, a dedicated procurement department, technical coordinators including warehouse and admin support. As well as our permanent resource, the AV Team have a plethora of freelance support available which is called upon when required. The Head of AV will manage all these resources and ensure the effective operation of our client accounts whilst devising a strategy to support the Project Managers with a pipeline of projects whether that be within or the entertainment industry or elsewhere.
Our core business is entertainment and therefore the role holder should be well versed with product innovation in the AV sector which can potentially influence our creative and able to communicate effectively to all stakeholders in a non-technical manner. The role holder will own larger tenders onto project fruition and use the team as resource, therefore an individual with AV, sound & light install experience is required and someone with an electrical bias is particularly desirable.The candidate needs to perform excellently in the face of our clients and have a willingness to travel to see our projects & installations domestically & internationally.In short, we’re looking for someone to take our AV department to the next level.
