Finance Director


We are looking for a stand-out Finance Director to join our HQ team, located in Milton Keynes, UK.

ted is a fast-paced and ambitious creative business with shifting requirements. We are at a pivotal point in our development, and therefore the successful candidate will be strategic with an entrepreneurial mind-set, adaptable, and able to juggle competing and changing priorities.

With an expanding international client portfolio and a commercial trend of growth in the last five years, we are now looking to appoint a new Finance Director to the board of directors.

role responsibilities

The Finance Director will be responsible for owning and modernising the entire finance and commercial operation of the business, controlling all financial strategies and commercial projects.

Included in that is overseeing, reviewing and adhering to the budgets for each business department, and ensuring that all of the company’s financial practices are in line with statutory regulations and legislation.

Driving increased revenue and profit analysis to achieve the company’s ambitious growth plan is also a key part of this role, as well as leading change and efficiencies, proposing innovation and the streamlining of processes, to help us achieve excellence.

The candidate will need to guide an already successful team to the next level of business and financial performance by adopting an inspirational and leading approach to each project.

qualifications, skills and experience

For this role, you must be minimum AAT, but preferably ACCA, ACA or CIMA qualified, with extensive experience in business.

We are looking for someone who has had a positive impact at senior level, achieving strategic success by increasing revenue and profit, while driving growth and cultural change.

Stand-out networking skills are also essential, with the ability to introduce a new external network of contacts to the business to form financial relationships and supplier contacts, alongside developing strong inter-company relationships.

Strong communication skills and extremely high attention to detail will also be a key part of our new Finance Director’s character, as well as the confidence and ability to present effectively with inspiration.

This is a full-time, permanent role, reporting to the company’s Chief Executive Officer.

The salary is competitive, negotiable depending on experience, and includes a company car and 28 days holiday, plus bank holidays.
