We have an exciting opportunity for a creative Digital Media Designer to join our HQ team, located in Milton Keynes, UK, on a full-time basis.

You will be part of our tedstudio department, responsible for the creation of visual media to develop and enhance our entertainment offering to leading clients worldwide.

role responsibilities

As ted‘s new Digital Media Designer, you will be responsible for creating digital media output, including animation, graphic design and motion graphics.

To achieve this, you will work closely with the creative arm of the organisation, including the production team, ensuring the highest quality visual digital media products are produced in line with client style guides.

You will ensure that a strict file management system is implemented to keep our digital media stored correctly, and maintain up-to-date diaries relevant to projects, reporting to the head of department on a regular basis.

qualifications, skills and experience

For this role, you must be experienced in creating digital media, and be skilled in the following: Adobe media suite (After Effects, Photoshop, Indesign), Cinema 4D and other animation software.

You must also possess Digital Media, Animation, Media Production or similar BA/BCS Hons, and experience of creating content for the entertainment industry is desirable.

Good verbal and written communication skills are also essential, to be able to communicate with team members effectively to create a high-level entertainment product.

You will need to be a dynamic and innovative professional with a forward-thinking attitude and approach, and have the ability to work under your own initiative and under extreme pressure at times.

You must also have a demonstrable passion for digital media, and show that by researching and keeping up-to-date with the market to ensure we are following the latest trends and technologies.

This is a permanent full-time position located at tedHQ in Milton Keynes, UK.

Out of hours and occasional weekend work is typical, and overseas travel will also be required.
