We are recruiting a Developer within our Studio department as part of our HQ operations, located in Milton Keynes, UK.

Role responsibilities 

 

The Developer will be responsible for creating, maintaining, and supporting all our internal and external systems. You are used to working to the highest standards and a culture of continuous improvement is necessary. In this pivotal role in the ted team, innovation is a key part of your role helping the business stay ahead of the technological trends and to drive efficiency.

 

You will work as part of the studio team who are responsible for the output of digital media internally and for our client portfolio.

 

You will maintain and upgrade the systems currently in place making sure these suit the needs of an ever-changing business, manage the internal servers and work with the key stakeholders to create an accurate brief and workflow for new CRM’s.

 

The responsibility of systems includes procurement, sampling of products, e-shops, operations, reporting and scheduling to name a few.

 

Qualifications, skills and experience

 

You must have strong experience with the framework Laravel and VueJS, alongside HTML, CSS, PHP, SQL, JavaScript. Experience in building custom CRM’s / Management reporting systems is vital. Knowledge of integrating WordPress sites with WooCommerce is essential.

 

Experience in project management is crucial, making sure that the systems created are to the brief and the expectation of the team. Excellent attention to detail is also vital, alongside exceptional communication skills and the ability to work under pressure to tight deadlines.

The successful candidate will be a strong, inspirational team player with the ability to challenge and successfully manage multiple projects.

You will be a methodical, organised and accurate person, who can work as part of a team as well as independently on your own initiative.

You will be highly self-motivated, possessing a desire to achieve and develop, displaying a can-do attitude at all times.

This is a full-time, permanent role, reporting to the company’s Head of Studio at tedHQ in Milton Keynes, UK.

 

The salary is competitive, negotiable depending on experience, and includes a company car and 25 days holiday, plus bank holidays.
