We are looking for a stand-out Business Development Director to join our HQ team, located in Milton Keynes, UK.

ted is a fast-paced, ambitious and creative business with shifting requirements, and we’re at a pivotal point in our development.

With an expanding international client portfolio and a commercial trend of growth in the last five years, we are now looking to appoint a new Business Development Director to the board of directors.

role responsibilities

The Business Development Director will be responsible for raising the profile of ted globally, growing the business with both new and established clients, as well as driving change and efficiencies across our six departments of incredible talent.

The position will take ownership of the management of the sales and marketing functions of the business, and lead the development and training strategy, inspiring and motivating an already successful team to the next level of business performance.

qualifications, skills and experience

For this role you must have extensive experience in business, with proven success at a senior level, and a history of increasing revenue through the generation of leads.

You must also possess a background of working closely with senior management to align and achieve strategic success, growth and cultural change.

Stand-out communication and negotiation skills with a proven track record of positively pitching for new business is also a must, as is the ability to network effectively and build relationships both internally and externally.

Experience and knowledge of sales, finance and marketing is also vital.

The successful candidate for this role will be strategic with an entrepreneurial mindset, adaptable and able to juggle competing and changing priorities.

It’s essential that you are a strong leader with a charismatic personality, and can channel that effectively to inspire others.

This is a full-time, permanent role, based at tedHQ in Milton Keynes, UK.

The salary is competitive, negotiable depending on experience, and includes a company car and 28 days holiday, plus bank holidays.
