Job Summary
This role will be predominantly based at our warehouse in Milton Keynes although there may be opportunities for supporting work on-site. We are a busy warehouse that services all departments within our business and so requires someone who is highly motivated and proactive.
You will need to maintain records and have a close eye on detail, identifying potential problems/ missing equipment/ clashes with equipment bookings etc. With goods in/out, you will take an active lead, ensuring that the process is efficient, maximising time and maintaining safe working practices.
You will be required to run a tidy and organised warehouse. The role requires manual handling with heavy lifting as well as customer-facing activities. It is important to have good personal hygiene, smart presentation, and an accommodating personality.
Due to the nature of our business, the role may require early starts, late evenings and weekends so a positive, good attitude is essential alongside a passion for the role.
Responsibilities
- Manage goods in/out & deliveries.
- Ensuring equipment is carefully stored and organised in the warehouse
- Take responsibility for the day-to-day running of the warehouse
- Preserving a tidy, safe and efficient working environment at all times
- Inspect, test, clean & update AV equipment as and when required.
- Maintain good relationships with internal/external customer base.
- Simple repairs to cabling and equipment.
- Prep and de-prep AV equipment
- Preparing AV equipment for projects & events
- Booking stock in and out using the Current RMS
- Loading and unloading vehicles
- Occasional on-site work and deliveries
- Complying with health and safety regulations and procedures
- Any other reasonably requested duties as requested by the management
Qualifications and Skills
- Driving license and your own vehicle.
- Knowledge and experience with Lighting, Sound, Video, Staging and Set
- Experience with maintaining and repairing AV equipment
- Good basic electrical knowledge
- Good IT knowledge
- Comfortable working at height
- Physically fit and capable of the heavy lifting

Desirable Experience
- 2-5 years of industrial warehouse experience
- On-site experience as a crew or a technician
- Qualification related to AV, live events or theatre production
- IPAF qualification
- Electrical experience
- Rigging experience
- Experience managing a warehouse
- Comfortable driving large vans
