| PROJECT: The Cliffs Pavilion required a total replacement of its ageing sound system and all associated equipment. TED AV was contracted to work with Electro Voice to design, supply and install new loudspeakers, digital sound processing, audio mixer, outboard effects & equalisation equipment, playback, bantam patchbay and all associated interconnecting cables. The theatre had only a ten-day period in August when it was able to close, so all of the new loudspeaker cabling was installed during convenient periods in the weeks leading up to August. A team of seven TED AV engineers was allocated for the final equipment installation. The sound system’s main DSP has been configured to suit the building, but can be adjusted wirelessly from anywhere in the auditorium via a laptop computer. | |
